Kicking off the day with coffee and chocolate tasting at a local farm in Ubud—because is it even a Bali trip if you don’t sample ALL the coffee? 😂 We got to see the whole process from bean to cup, taste-test some unique blends (hello, Bali cocoa heaven! 🍫), and even try our hand at making chocolate. The kids were in their element!
In the afternoon, we headed to the Sacred Monkey Forest 🐵🌿—always an adventure! Reminder: these monkeys are wild and can be unpredictable, so follow the rules, don’t bring food, and keep your belongings close. Trust us, they know how to unzip a backpack faster than you do! 😆

**Coffee, Chocolate & Monkey Mischief: A Fun-Filled Day in Ubud** ☕🍫🐒
Ubud is a dream destination for families, and today’s adventure was packed with flavor and fun! We started the morning at a local coffee and chocolate farm, where we learned about the entire bean-to-cup process. From watching expert roasters at work to taste-testing rich Balinese cocoa, every moment was a treat! The kids especially loved getting their hands messy making their own chocolate—who knew chocolate-making could double as an art project? 🍫😍
Of course, no trip to Bali is complete without sampling _kopi luwak_, the world-famous (and slightly controversial) civet cat coffee. We gave it a try—smooth, strong, and definitely an experience to remember!
After our caffeine and sugar fix, it was time for some adventure! The Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud is famous for its playful (and sometimes cheeky) residents. These wild macaques roam freely among ancient temple ruins and lush jungle, making it an unforgettable experience for kids and adults alike. 🐵🌿
A word of advice: Keep your belongings secure! These little tricksters have a talent for unzipping bags and snatching shiny objects. We saw more than one curious monkey attempt a daring grab! 😆
Overall, today was the perfect mix of delicious treats, hands-on fun, and a little monkey mayhem. If you're visiting Ubud with family, this combo of chocolate, coffee, and culture is a must-do!
