One thing we never thought to check before renting our Bali house… 💧 Where does all the water go when it rains? We checked the flood maps, asked around, and chose an area that wasn’t known for flooding. But what we didn’t realise was that sometimes it’s not the area that’s the problem, it’s the property itself. After a few heavy rainstorms, we found ourselves waking up at 3am to pump out the fish pond before it overflowed into one of the bedrooms.
