One of the funniest messages we get living in Bali is... "Why aren't you guys more tanned?" πβοΈ Honestly, after two years of sharing our life online here, we've been asked this countless times. And the answer is pretty simple. We prioritise our skin health π€ Living in Bali means we're exposed to a LOT of sun, so regular skin checks are just part of life for our family. Not just Chad and I, but the kids too. If we notice anything changing, anything new, anything that doesn't look quite right, it's straight to the dermatologist to get checked π We're also those people constantly covering up π UV jackets on the bike. Sunscreen every day. Hats. Shade whenever we can find it. If you've spent much time in Bali, you'll notice the locals do exactly the same thing. Most people riding scooters are completely covered from head to toe. Long sleeves. Jackets. Face coverings. Gloves. And honestly, they've probably got the right idea. A tan might look nice for a week or two, but healthy skin lasts a lifetime π€ Living somewhere sunny has made us more aware of looking after our skin, not less. So if you're heading to Bali, don't forget the sunscreen, the hat and maybe book that skin check you've been putting off too βοΈβ¨ Your future self will thank you.
