Easing into the New Year: Family Moments in Bali’s Great Outdoors

New year off to a good start ✨ Out for a walk with Neddie and the kids, fresh air, moving our bodies, and easing into the year the way we love most 🤍
There’s no better way to begin the New Year than by reconnecting with nature and each other. Our family welcomed the year with a peaceful walk through Bali’s lush outdoors — just us, some fresh air, and the gentle rhythm of our footsteps. With Neddie and the kids stretching their legs after a joyful holiday season, it felt like the perfect reset.
Bali offers so many beautiful, family-friendly walking spots that make slowing down easy. From serene beach paths in Sanur to the verdant trails of Ubud’s Campuhan Ridge Walk, each step outside becomes a chance to bond, breathe deeply, and be present. Along the way, the kids collected leaves and pointed out butterflies, finding their own quiet joy in nature’s playground.
Mindful travel has become our family’s favorite way to explore. It’s not about ticking off all the attractions — it’s about truly soaking in where we are, together. Bali's warm breezes, scenic landscapes, and laid-back culture create the ideal setting for families to recharge.
If you're planning a trip to Bali with little ones, we recommend carving out time for simple outdoor experiences. Whether it’s a beachside sunset stroll or a bamboo-lined morning hike, these are the moments that stay with you.
As we ease into the year ahead, we carry these memories with gratitude — fresh air in our lungs, sand under our feet, and happy hearts in paradise. Sometimes, the simplest adventures are the most meaningful.
