Kids are incredible. 💛 When we made the decision to move to Bali, it wasn’t just us—our kids took that leap with us. At 18, 13, 9, and 7, they left behind everything familiar—their friends, routines, and comforts—for a life filled with unknowns. And let me tell you, they’ve handled it all with more courage, resilience, and curiosity than we ever could’ve imagined. They’ve shown us what it means to embrace change. From trying new foods (some hits, some misses) to learning about Balinese customs and languages, they’ve jumped in with open hearts and adventurous spirits. Watching them thrive in situations that push them outside their comfort zones has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. Homeschooling has been another adventure—one we’re all learning and growing through together. They’ve proven to be smart, ambitious, and adaptable, whether tackling lessons on the road or turning a beach day into a science class. It’s not always easy, but their drive to keep learning and exploring inspires us daily. This past year in Bali has been a mix of challenges and triumphs—celebrating milestones, figuring out life in a new country, and finding our rhythm as a family. But through it all, our kids have shown us what it means to be brave, resilient, and endlessly curious. And guess what?
